Shipping rates for international orders are based on the actual shipping cost
plus a nominal $2.00 handling fee.

Customs and taxes (if any) will be added when you receive the package.
We cannot collect those on your behalf.

1. Shipping Method. Please specify which method in the comments section of the online order form. There are three choices with corresponding rates listed below on this page.

2. VISA/MasterCard Address Confirmation. Our merchant services account (VISA/MC) does not provide us with the same security measures for international customers as with US customers. Because of this, we must ask you to provide us with additional information. We need to confirm that your billing and shipping address match and that you are the valid cardholder. Please supply us with one of the following:

a. Fax (+ 435-462-2292) or e-mail a digital JPG photo of both your photo ID/country identification or driver's license PLUS your credit card (put both in the same shot or scan -- you may want to block out some numbers with masking tape or on the scan as e-mail is non-secure).
b. Fax (+ 435-462-2292) or e-mail a digital JPG photo of your credit card statement showing your address (you may want to block out some numbers on the scan as e-mail is non-secure)
OR
c. English-speaking credit card phone number, including country, city code etc. It is usually the number found on the back of the card and typically is a local number and not an 1-800 number.

d. PayPal. Although we prefer VISA/MC, we can accept PayPal as an alternative method. Please visit this page for further instructions.

Fraudulent orders cost us, NOT the credit card company, so we have to protect ourselves by taking additional precautions. Orders from Russia, Ghana, Gambia, Indonesia, Malaysia & Nigeria are countries with statistically high credit card fraud -- orders from these countries usually require prepayment by money order.
If your bank cannot be reached on the phone or if they refuse to help us verify card information, then an alternative payment method may be required (i.e. Certified or Cashiers check or Money Order).

There is a new USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate Box which works well for fill SafariSack ONLY orders. It is about half of the rates posted above.

Frequently, the delays in international shipping are not the shipping service, rather the customs process on the receiving end (which you are responsible for paying). We have found that packages sent to British Columbia in Canada usually take longer than those going to most other countries like Singapore, Switzerland etc.

Note 1: UPS, FedEx or DHL air is the other option but is about 2-4 times the price of USPS Express Mail International. The cost for a typical belt system is about $60-120. UPS "Stanard" service to Canada (7 business days) for a 2 lb. package is $14.00. UPS Worldwide Expedited" to Canada (3 business days) for a 2 lb. package is $71.00. Brokerage customs fees of UPS or FedEx are usually a lot more than USPS too.

Note 2: All international orders over $20 include insurance. If an order is lost or damaged, we will reship the order and charge your card a second time. Credit for your first order will not be issued until we see a refund from the post office, which sometimes takes 3-4 months (except Express Mail where claims are quicker).
You may opt out of insurance and save a dollar or two (please put "no insurance" in the comments section of your online order), but we are not responsible for lost or damaged orders. PLEASE DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK!

USPS Express Mail International Guaranteed is the quickest method available, but is not available in our area (we live in a rural area and not near a major airport).

N/A = Service Not Available -- maximum package weight for First-Class Mail International is 1.8 kg (4 lbs.).

You may figure your own estimated shipping price by visiting the United States Postal Service (USPS) website and calculating the cost. Don't forget to allow extra for insurance. We will add to that cost a $2.00 handling fee.

Canadian orders cannot always be shipped to a Post Office Box. Generally speaking we prefer to ship to a "street" address.
